I thought it might be a good idea to set up a place where people can make Out Of Character (OOC) comments like in the previous RPG without having to risk messing up the flow of the RPG itself. If you like something (such as I want to say "hey WeeklyAaron, I think Air's time power is gnarly"), don't like something (such as "hey MonthlyJohn, your posts are way to long, it breaks the flow"), or if you want to ask someone a question (such as "hey MonthlyJohn, how can Zaulche move through trees?"), then it can all be done here, apart form the RPG, but still in the context of the RPG. What does everyone think?

Nice imagery TempusMage. I like how you put reentering the smoky and raining dark forest as it whipping around you. Alright, so we have what I was doing and what happened to you. Unfortunately I can’t go until WeeklyAaron posts, since my weather manipulation took several “actions,” as I like to call them. I need to let a few posts catch up to where I am, so if am not on for a bit feel free to keep posting after WeeklyAaron, I’ll get back into it after another post or two when the overall timeline catches up to my character.

Ah time, that brings up a question. WeeklyAaron, I know you described Air's time altering ability as slowing it down, and gave the factor of three to one, but how does it appear to your character. For example, if someone was in the middle of an action, would they keep going in slow more, or would it look like they stopped to you, and then after you release time everything catches up? I was just curious because I was thinking about Air's ability and how, obviously, it seems to him like time slowed down, but it would make more sense in the grand scheme of the universe if he sped yourself up and everything else stayed the same. Hmm...then again that would affect his perception of everything around him...What do you think? Lol, I am probably just reading into this far too much.

I must say WeeklyAaron and TempusMage you guys are keeping me on my toes. So far this RPG has definitely been less predictable than the other. Good times.

Everything slows down around him, rather than freezing, and snapping back like a rubberband. It looks like the Matrix to him, insofar as that it's slow, but not frozen.

Alright, I think I get it now. So when he slows down time I can imagine bullet time from the matrix, where the velocities are still proportional.

Therefore, he could use that to dodge an arrow shot at him from several paces away, but a crossbow bolt shot at less than 100 feet may still be fast enough to hit him.

If you concur with the above then I believe I understand his power better. If not, please enlighten me.

Doctor?

Oh, and doesn't saying,
"As he bent down to examine the ground,"Go against your 'Don't say what other characters are doing' rule?

Lol, I don't really care that much, and you are right, Zaulche most likely would have kneeled down to examine it. Just wanted to ask for clarity for anyone else that may join later. Maybe this is an exception or something like that?

It was a minor control, and easily correctable if an issue is raised.

Punk. Smile

Hey now, I may be young but I am definately not a homosexual, nor have I been a fellow inmate's man whore, so I do not appreciate being refered to as such. Cool

I other news, how many posts have to be made before a thread becomes 'popular'?
